Commercial & Civil Lawn Hydroseeding
Site Preparation and Hydroseeding
Hamilton Airport Ground Reinstatement Following Civil Earthworks
Following civil earthworks at Hamilton Airport, Vista Environmental Landcare completed hydroseeding work across a broad grassed area at the airport entry.
The documented scope included ground preparation and a hydraulic lawn-establishment treatment after the civil work was complete. The project illustrates the need to coordinate hydroseeding with site levels, drainage, access and the wider landscaping programme on a public-facing commercial site.
The site challenge
After earthworks, an exposed site needs to be assessed for preparation, surface condition and the intended use of the finished area. For this project, the recorded work included soil decompaction and grading before hydroseeding.
What Vista completed
Vista’s project brief records:
- Ground preparation following civil earthworks;
- Decompaction and grading for the treatment area; and
- Hydroseeding of the prepared grassed surface.
Planning commercial ground establishment
If your commercial or infrastructure project is approaching landscape completion, send through the plans, access information, surface area and programme dates.
We will assess the appropriate scope for lawn establishment, revegetation or surface treatment.
